It’s time to run hog wild! Hillbilly Christmas in July is hosting a Run Hog Wild 7 mile trail run at Bob Amos Park in Pikeville, KY, May 24, 2014, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Race fee is $30.00 with $2.50 sign up. Bob Amos park features two beautiful trail systems, and is located atop the second largest earth removal project in U.S. History, the Pikeville Cut-Through. The run has a total ascent of 862 ft. and has a max elevation of 1,515ft. Proceeds benefit Hillbilly Christmas in July, a non-profit organization that supports the Shriners Hospital for Children in Lexington, KY. Awards will be given to the top 10 finishers for both male and female. Everyone who finishes gets a medal!
