Further, those in the category of needing to lower blood pressure, those who suffer from depression or those who may need to strengthen their immune system can benefit greatly from walking.

Studies also suggest that walking can aid those with breathing or circulatory problems and improve balance and coordination.

Walking has many other benefits as well, such as lowering the risk of having a stroke. Walking can even help those suffering from arthritis and other forms of joint pain. It is also an effective way of maintaining lean muscle.
