Vicks VapoRub has been around for over hundred years and it is known as one of the best over-the-counter decongestants. Therefore, it has been long used to treat cold, cough, congested nose, chest and throat stiffness, and headaches.

VapoRub contains levomenthol, a solid white glass with mint flavor which may lead to rash if used alone. However, it is completely safe when dissolved in Vicks, as it includes eucalyptus oil. Ingredients:

• Camphor
• Sodium bicarbonate
• Alcohol

Instructions:

Crush the camphor tablet and combine it with the rest of the ingredients to create a paste.  Transfer the mixture into a plastic or glass container. Apply the cream in the evening by making circular movements. Then, wrap the area with plastic wrap and leave it on for about half an hour or overnight.

Removes Warts

Apply Vicks twice daily and cover the wart with gauze and a sock. Although you will feel better in a few days, it is recommended to continue with the treatment for about two weeks in order to eliminate the wart for good.

Athlete`s Foot

To heal athletes foot apply Vicks twice on a daily basis.

Put some Vicks onto a cotton ball and then place it in the painful ear. Amazingly, you will feel an instant relief!
