STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma Highway Patrol is confirming that three people have died in a crash near Stillwater.

Reports indicate that two cars collided near the intersection of E. 68 St. and Brush Creek.

Initial reports indicated that one person had died in the crash and 6 others were injured.

It has since been revealed that two others died at the scene.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol says that a Chevy pickup ran a stop sign and struck a Dodge Ram pickup in the passenger side.

Three people were in the Chevy. The driver, Justin Rollins of Tryon, was flown to OU Medical Center in critical condition. Passenger Joshua Rollins, from Perkins, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second passenger, Dustin Hughes, refused treatment.

Four people were in the Dodge Ram. Driver Craig Tabor, from Stillwater, was taken to Stillwater Medical Center, treated and released. Two passengers, Keith Douglas Gandy and Nicole Tabor, were pronounced dead a the scene. A third passenger, a child, was flown to OU Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.

An off-duty officer rolled up on the scene right after it happened.

According to an accident report, the driver of the Chevy truck’s condition prior to the crash is being investigated.
