Cucumber is a widely cultivated plant of the gourd family, Cucurbitaceae. They were first grown in some parts of southern Asian but now they are cultivated in almost every continent of the world. Cucumbers are known as a vegetable but botanically speaking they are fruits. The most common method of using cucumber is to consume them as the salad. The cooling properties or anti-inflammatory properties of cucumber make it excellent for using it as a natural toner. For using cucumber for skin glow, rub a freshly peeled cucumber slice on your face & neck and leave and leave it to dry for 30 minutes, or you can also splash some freshly squeezed cucumber juice as a face wash. After this, wash your face with cold water.

95 percent of cucumber’s weight is water which means using a cucumber on our skin helps in keeping our skin hydrated. It becomes more beneficial when cucumber is used along with other hydrating substance like curd to make a hydrating face mask. To use cucumber for skin hydration, blend cucumber juice and curd together to form a fine paste. Apply this paste on your face and leave it for some time, and then rinse off with water. Cucumber can be used for getting rid of cellulite. For using cucumber for cellulite reduction, take half cup ground coffee and mix it with cucumber juice and one tablespoon of raw honey to make a thick paste. Do you want your hair to become silky and shiny? If yes, then using cucumber juice for hair care will help you. For this, blend an egg, some olive oil, and a quarter cucumber together in a mixer. Apply the finely textured mixture on your scalp and all over your hair. Leave it for some time ( but not more than ten minutes) and then wash off with a mild shampoo.
