Here’s a picture of me at age 34 when I was overweight, flabby and suffered from cellulite.
I am sure you know what it feels like to have cottage cheese bumps and dimples all over your hips, butt, thighs and legs.Around the time of this photo I went shopping for a swimsuit. Under the nasty fluorescent lights all I could see from the belly button down were deep pockets of cellulite.
My now ex-husband was waiting outside the dressing room wondering what was taking so long. The truth was I was trying to compose myself, close to tears, wondering where the body I once had was. I didn’t recognize the stranger in the mirror.
But today, I am very happy to say I’m 100% cellulite free.
Here I am at almost 50 years of age!
The good news is, there is a solution to your cellulite – even a cure.
So let me tell you my story and how you too can get rid of cellulite…forever.
The first thing you need to know is that after my 10+ years as an executive in the cosmetic industry I can tell you those creams, brushes or body wraps will NOT have a magical effect on making your unsightly cellulite disappear. I can’t tell you how WRONG and misleading all of those hyped-up hocus-pocus promises are.
You can rub creams into your cellulite, dry brush it, wrap it tightly…or even worse visit a plastic surgeon and receive Liposuction. Please NEVER do Liposuction! Like those other topical methods, it doesn’t deal with the cause of your cellulite. And it can disfigure your body by unevenly removing fat leaving indentations that look worse that the cellulite problem you’re trying to solve.
If these expensive treatments worked, the rich and famous wouldn’t suffer from cellulite. It’s that simple.
What I’m about to share with you today is not an expensive treatment or dangerous surgery. And it’s definitely not some sort of miracle cream.
Cellulite is the bumpy appearance of the skin caused by fat cells protruding from lower subcutaneous (fat) layer of the skin into the supporting layer (the dermis). The job of the dermis is to cushion the top layer of the skin keeping it firm and taut. When the fat cells push up irregularly into the dermis it causes the surface of the skin to look dimpled.
It is important you notice how the muscle is directly underneath the fat layer and how the septa is connected to the muscle fibers and the dermis holding the fat cells in place.
Have you noticed how even women in their healthy weight range can still have those bumps and dimples?
This is because cellulite is NOT a fat problem – it’s all about your muscle tone.
Without getting too technical…
Cellulite is caused by stuck, glued together, atrophying muscle fibers. It’s also the trapped toxicity in those fibers and muscles cells that creates an unstable, uneven foundation for your skin to sit on.
The cellulite you’re seeing on your thighs, butt, hips and legs formed because of what’s happening below the surface in your muscles.
The good news is there are very specific exercises to reactivate those unused muscles that bring circulation back to the inactive muscle fibers and rigid connective tissue causing your cellulite.
You see your lower body has over 90 muscles that need to be engaged and toned to become cellulite free.
Most of them are barely used. That’s how we say Hello Cellulite in the first place!!
The solution is simple.
We need to activate the dormant, mushy muscles to firm, tone and smooth your skin from the inside-out.
When the muscle fibers underneath the cellulite are stimulated with female specific trouble zone targeted exercises, the muscle becomes denser and firmer and pushes outward against the skin evenly compressing the fat layer and septa making the surface of the skin smooth so the dimples and bumps disappear.
