Beginning with next week’s football previews you guys will notice a high volume of content in The Tribune by Donovan Aird. He will by taking over for me, and in most respects already has, after I leave The Tribune at the end of the week to take a position doing Web development with a firm in San Diego.

I’ve been a member of The Tribune’s sports department since Sept. 2005 and it’ll be an odd feeling when the first few football games roll around and I’m not in a press box covering one of SLO County’s teams.

I’d like to thank all you guys for your participation here at The Preps Box. The amount of reader interaction on this blog is the envy of ever other Tribune blogger.  I hope that it only continues to grow under Donovan’s watch.
