Soundings Review, a magazine of creative writing, is a product of the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts MFA program. We publish poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, and writing for children and young adults. We also accept submissions of photography and other artwork. Open to diverse styles and voices, Soundings Review is passionate about accessibility and depth

We love stories that make an impression on the first read, and with subsequent readings continue to elicit thought and understanding, and poetry that moves us, with ending lines that make us breathless, and vivid language that changes us.

We welcome well-written and engaging submissions from emerging and established writers. Please see our and consider making a submission.
