FROG Physicians work as a team to provide each patient with a personalized treatment plan to meet their individual needs. Being diagnosed with cancer is a difficult and scary experience for patients and loved ones. First Radiation & Oncology Group recognizes that with the diagnosis of cancer comes questions, concerns and raises issues for the patient and their family. These concerns may influence the patients ability to deal with the disease. FROG offers a variety of support services, to help the patient and family throughout the treatment process and help them manage the physical and emotional aspects of living with cancer.
FROG offers patients and family members the opportunity to participate in a tremendous number of cancer research trials sponsored by the National Cancer Institute and various other leading institutions. As a result of our research, our centers were the first in the region to incorporate the use of radio protectors during radiation treatment to protect normal tissues.
