Cellulite Treatment Lupus

Last week I wrote about to avoid. The scams I mentioned are fairly common. However, there are some less common ones you’ll also want to watch out for.

One of the reasons people fall for these is because they’re so unusual. People think, “Wow, I’ve never heard of this before. Maybe it’s a new miracle breakthrough.” Sorry, but there’s no such thing. The only way to get rid of cellulite is to get your leg muscles in shape with a .

Anti-Cellulite Clothing: It’s a little sad when people buy so-called “anti-cellulite clothing” because it means they’re giving up. They think they’re doomed to have cellulite forever and that there’s nothing they can do but hide it. Special clothes can compress your skin and make cellulite less visible, but these clothes are very uncomfortable and once you take them off, your cellulite will be visible again. Besides, they won’t do you much good at the pool or the beach.

Aromatherapy: This one always makes me laugh. The idea is that certain herbs and oils can reduce stress, improve blood flow, and decrease water retention, among other things. While all this is true, the claim that these things will reduce cellulite is false. If it does make any difference, it won’t be a visible difference.

Laser Therapy: Some specialists say they can break up fat cells and make your skin look more firm by using laser beams. Unfortunately, this expensive procedure is only a temporary fix, and sometimes it doesn’t work at all. No matter what you do to your skin and fat, your cellulite will remain visible until you improve the structure of the underlying muscles.

Mesotherapy: This is a treatment where problem areas are injected with medicines, vitamins and minerals that are supposedly good for eliminating cellulite. There haven’t been any scientific studies that prove it works, and like laser therapy, it can also be very expensive. Here are some if you want to learn more.

Supplements: Various pills and drugs are marketed with the claim that they will speed up your metabolism, burn fat and improve your skin. The problem is that most supplements are not regulated by the FDA. That means the claims have little research backing them. It also means the ingredients on the label are often inaccurate or inconsistent. Some supplements have been known to make a temporary difference, but that’s all.

The Truth About Cellulite by Joey Atlas explains some of these scams and why they don’t work. It also explains what you can do to get rid of cellulite for good.
