The Darius Ensemble has existed since 2004, is a set of variable geometry. It runs throughout Belgium and occasionally abroad.

The idea came from a small group of musicians wanting to revive chamber music, too often forgotten.

This set offers a varied repertoire of chamber music, from classic music of the past to create new works.

It is in view to promoting musical creation today that all recorded the album "Presence", released in January 2013, Atria compositions of David.

Currently the Darius Ensemble prepares the premiere of the opera "The Olympiad" of Vivaldi, which will combine the baroque to contemporary dance.

The Darius Ensemble has performed in the high places of chamber music such as the Chateau of Aigremont, the Castle of Jehay in July 2011 with as special guest Jean-Luc Votano, solo clarinetist with the Philharmonic Orchestra Liege.

The year 2010 was devoted to a tour of several Cultural Centres in Belgium with bass-baritone Cedric Feye in baroque repertoire.

The Darius Ensemble collaborates with the NPO, especially for festivals to Monty Charneux Chapel with renowned artists such as Mikhail Bezverkhny (First Prize of Queen Elizabeth Competition) Jean-Gabriel Raelet (concertmaster of the Royal Opera Wallonia) Peter Petrov (piano), Natacha Kowalski (soprano), Georges-Emmanuel Schneider, Caroline Poncelet (Chief of attack at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie) and Thibault Lavrenov (cello of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège).
