When I first started working out I focused all my energy on improving my cardio. I wanted to lose a few pounds and get rid of some cellulite. What I didn’t understand is why I wasn’t getting those defined muscle lines on my legs that other girls seemed to have. Well if you aren’t strengthening your muscles you won’t have anything to be defined once you lose the fat (a pretty huge duh moment for me!) Once I started strength training the muscles seemed to come really quickly, and stronger muscles increased my cardio resistance and stamina as well! These are just a few of the many small fitness rumors I have realized are not true! What are some that you have learned or heard? I’d love to see your comments below!
