80% of women in the United States and around the world have suffered from cellulite somewhere on their bodies. Cellulite has become one of the biggest skin issues that women face on a regular basis. Yes, there are some men who also get cellulite on their bodies, but it is mostly in the women’s issue.
Getting cellulite laser treatment is a great way to get rid of unwanted cellulite, but there is one drawback, and that is the cost of this serious treatment. This is not a body scrub that you purchase at the mall, and it is certainly not a simple act of dry brushing or massaging your skin every day to get rid of the cellulite. It is an actual medical procedure that will need to be performed at a professional medical spa office by a licensed and experienced doctor.
You need to remember that everything is not cut and dry with this treatment, and there are several things that you need to know about the truth of cellulite laser treatment before you even think about going into it. Let’s go over them quickly here before delving more into each one so that you can get a good understanding of how much it is going to cost you to get the treatment done if you want to do so.
First of all, it is important to know that there are different types of cellulite laser treatments out there, so each one is going to cost a different amount. For example, there is one of the most popular cellulite laser treatments called Cellulaze.
Cellulaze was recently cleared by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) for use on people to treat the dreaded lumps and bumps of cellulite. But Cellulaze do not run cheap. You’re looking at about $2500 for the total amounts of sessions that you will need to see a great improvement in your cellulite.
There are other generic types of cellulite laser treatments as well. These generic treatments will cost around $1000-$2000, so they will be a little less, but Cellulaze has some of the best reviews.
When we talk about laser treatments that are generic, we are talking about those that either may not be approved by the FDA for those that are approved but are very noninvasive. When we say very noninvasive treatments, we mean that these treatments do not actually do the trick to get rid of cellulite altogether. Instead, they may just agitate the skin with some sort of light.
In other words, beware of cellulite laser treatments that are too inexpensive. If you go for a cheap option, it is still going to be several hundred dollars or up to $1000, so they are actually not cheap. Instead, they don’t work and they cost you a lot of money. You are better off going with a treatment that will cost more but one that has actually been approved by the FDA and works for cellulite.
As we have stated, you’ll need to get several treatments for your cellulite when you get cellulite laser treatment. Many people forget this when they are getting quotes from a medical spa or dermatologist. The medical spa or dermatologist may tell them that it is only $500 for for the treatment, but what they are really saying is that it is $500 for one of the treatment sessions, and sometimes, many people need up to five treatment sessions altogether to actually make headway on their cellulite.
So before you actually make an appointment and start shelling out the big bucks for these treatments, make sure that you know how many treatments you will likely need. This is a perfectly acceptable question to ask before you start your treatments, and it can actually save yourself of thousands of dollars.
It is also important to know that you will not just be getting laser treatments to fix your cellulite. In many cases, your doctor or dermatologist will have you doing things at home as well. Some doctors will even put you on a special diet or exercise program to help with the fat around the cellulite areas of your body. You have to do these things if you want to get rid of your cellulite. You can’t skimp and expect the laser treatments alone to do the job. People forget this, and when they do not follow through on the at-home guidelines, their cellulite does not go away, and they waste their money, time and energy.
There is no definitive answer to whether cellulite laser treatment really works or not. Many people have had great success with this type of cellulite treatment, but others will tell you that they saw no difference whatsoever. A lot of whether it works or not has to do with how much cellulite you have in the first place and how well you follow up with treatment and at-home instructions.
Finally, keep in mind that every women, or at least most of them, does have cellulite. If you have read this article and decided that cellulite laser treatment is not for you because of the cost, don’t fret. There are other things that you can do to help yourself get rid of cellulite at home or at least at a much lower cost. Cellulite laser treatment may be great for some people, but there are also options out there for others who can’t afford it. You can get rid of cellulite once and for all too!
