Dr. Gomborone welcomes both UK and international patients. UK residents may be required to obtain a letter of referral from their GP or specialist prior to their appointment if they wish to benefit from their private medical insurance.
The initial consultation includes an exploration of the presenting difficulties, a discussion of your symptoms, and the results of any prior investigations and treatment interventions. The consultation normally concludes with a recommended treatment management plan.
If you have private medical insurance, you should contact your insurance company prior to your appointment in order to obtain a pre-authorisation code. Please note that, although we will invoice the insurance company directly on your behalf, any payment made by an insurer is considered to be a reimbursement towards the cost of your treatment. The ultimate responsibility for payment lies with you and you will therefore be responsible for any shortfall should your insurance company fail to cover the full amount. Please note that prior to subsequent consultations you will need to contact your insurance company for confirmation of your entitlement to benefit. If you do not have private medical insurance you will be responsible for all costs incurred as a self-funding patient.
Dr. Gomborone holds daily outpatient clinics at the London Medical Centre and is a visiting Chartered Psychologist to the King Edward VII Hospital and the Princess Grace Hospital.
Please note that should you need to cancel your appointment, 48 hours’ notice must be given or you will incur the full consultation fee.
