Mission Statement The mission of the Department of Public Works is to enhance the quality of life of the citizens of Colonial Beach through safe, effective and efficient planning, design, construction, operation, repair and maintenance of infrastructure systems consistent with Town comprehensive and revitalization planning initiatives. In the performance of our duties we will constantly strive to efficiently apply the best possible management and technology, at the lowest possible cost, to achieve the most effective results. Additionally, the department provides daily services that add to the health and general welfare of our citizens and visitors.
