Hey Lovelies, I’m rounding up another Easter-ey outfit idea for you today, something much less formal than the last outfit. I am always searching for cute local boutiques everywhere I go, and in Charlotte, is one of my favorites. They share product with the popular Ivy and Leo boutique as well. When I want a cute and trendy piece, this is a great place to look, plus it is really budget friendly. Holla! I love living in NoDa, it is so colorful, and it is a great setting for pictures. Okay I know my face is crazy here, but isn’t that sign hilarious?! I love Solstice, it reminds me of Merlotte’s in True Blood. I went in this week take a look at what they have in for spring, and came out with a few great things! In particular I fell in love with this flowing midi dress. I love it for a spring look, but you could also wear it as a bathing suit cover-up, or with a denim jacket for nighttime. The print is absolutely fab, something different, and definitely not something I already had inmy closet. I loved the bright primary colors in the print as well. For those of you afraid or timid of wearing big prints, don’t be! With a simple shoe and simple to no accessories, these bold looks work very well. Too much accessorizing with a big print can be distracting though. At least I think so..but rock it however you want! This dress is pretty low cut, so I put a bandeau bra underneath for the photo shoot. However, you could easily pair it with a pretty lacy bralette or if you are wearing as a swim cover, no worries! If I was going to wear this for easter Sunday, I would definitely wear a bandeau, and probably throw on a little crop jacket as well. I also got this hat from Julie’s, and I am loving it! I collect vintage hats and fascinators, but I love modern ones too. Sometimes they can just totally pull a look together and make it something much better than it would have been without one. This hat takes this dress from cute and casual to spicy and sassy! Plus, it is aperfect summer hat and very lightweight. No one likes a sweaty head, y’all. haha! I paired this outfit with a super bright lip. It is from the new Mac Pink Flamingo collection. The color is Flocking Fabulous. I love it, except that without lip liner, it does bleed a lot. So I paired it with a red lipliner for my classic look. My wedges are Coach. I got them from a consignment store here in Charlotte. I always thought I would never wear white shoes for fear of scuffing them up constantly, but these were so cute and I knew I could wear them with a lot of stuff I have. Where would you wear this look? Outfit Details: Dress: Julie’s boutique get it it’s $44.99 !!
