Summer may be over but we know cellulite is something women worry about year-round so we’ve decided to bring you our top tips for battling the dimples. Don’t get us wrong, we know cellulite is completely normal and something that really shouldn’t play on your self-esteem but it’s a very rare women who screams from the rooftops; ‘I LOVE MY CELLULITE’ and, unless they’re on your cheeks, dimples are generally unwanted. So, we’ve put together these easy tips to make your skin a little smoother… 1. Drink Water Buckets of it. Not really, three or so liters a day will do the trick. We know sometimes ‘drink water’ feels like the solution to everything and it can be a bit tiring to hear but water is the cheapest, easiest way to detoxify your body and get rid of any nasties that are keeping you from a dimple-free derriere. 2. Boost Circulation and Burn Fat There are several ways you can boost circulation. First of all, you should step up the cardio workouts to encourage fat burning and bloodmovement. Don’t have time to get to the gym? No excuses, take 10 minute stretch breaks every hour or soto get the blood moving. Walk around, stretch out and you will notice a difference. Finally, if you’re not getting enough fruit and veg, either up the ante or start taking a multi with plenty of Vitamin B. 3. Eat the Rainbow Bright fruits such as mango and papaya have antioxidants that are thought to prevent tissue damage while broccoli, peas and lima beans help fight inflammation of the connective tissue. Blueberries and blackberries also help boost the antioxidant level in the body and stimulate the production of collagen which may lessen the appearance of cellulite. 4. Use Green Coffee Creams containing caffeine have been proven to eliminate cellulite. Green coffee in particular helps to eliminate toxins and water retention, improve blood circulation, improve skin elasticity and reduce puffy, spongy skin. Our and both contain green coffee and work together to eliminate celluliteand improve the appearance of the skin. 5. Eat Soy Got a tofu habit? Keep it up! Soy products contain an element known as genistein. Genistein has collagen-boosting qualities that can reduce cellulite and block further breakdown of frail skin fibers. 6. Body Brush Dry body brushing has become more popular in recent years and while we know the routine can be a little annoying, it really does work wonders for your health and skin. Invest in a body brush and do your best to spend a few minutes each day brushing in a circular motion. It will stimulate circulation, lymphatic flow and shed dry skin cells. Finally, don’t beat yourself up over it! Even the slimmest celebrities (hello Kate Moss) suffer from the dreaded dimples. Share and Enjoy
